WTB windshield chrome for '70

Just like it says. Need deep groove chrome for around windshield. Would like to get better than just driver quality, but...... Stuff I got from LMC didn't even have the correct contour for windshield. It went back. As did the same stuff from Chevy Duty. Apparently all aftermarket is imported by Counterpart Automotive in Ca.. Their quality dept must be non-existant. Any help would be appreciated.

I have some from a 70 Custom that I use for parts. I took them out to use on a 72 project and found out they were different. Who knew?????? Any way I believe all the pieces are in nice shape and if you still need them I will take a look tonight to make sure there are no dings or dents.

Are there different styles for different years?
Just curious, becaus I got some out of a 72 GMC awhile back and I'm not sure what year my windshield weatherstripping came out of.

67-70 one style of trim
71-72 different style

454724x4, You will have to pull the window any way to install. The trim has to be installed before it is installed on the truck.

The two styles were basically a deep groove used 67-70 and shallow groove 71/72. The deep groove is about 5/8 inch on the bottom leg with shallow about 3/8. Not sure if those dimensions are exact but you get the idea.

Thanks for the info guys! Still amazes me how much knowledge there is on this board.

Is there a way to tell which year weatherstripping I have. I assume the channel will be shallower for the shallower trim and vice versa. Correct?

I bought a cab without glass and trim but the weatherstripping came with it. Again I'm assuming the weatherstripping is 72 because the cab is a 72.
