Chassis Dimensions

Hello all, I am new to the board, but not new to Chevy trucks. I am in need of some information. I need to know the dimentions of a 1973-1987 Chevy long bed regular cab truck frame. Wheelbase and any other measurements anyone would have.
I am in the early stages of building a 1965 GMC pick-up, and I want to put it on a more modern 4X4 frame. I am nearly certain I can put this body on said chassis with very few mods. If anyone has done this swap, I am all ears as to what had to be changed or moved. If you would like, you may e-mail me directly at jadan@mywdo.com. Thanks so much for the help. I am so glad I sumbled upon this board. Danny in Huntsville, Missouri

You can argue with me but you can't argue with figures. Two half nothings is a whole nuthin...

Re: Chassis Dimentions

I stumble onto that page. It does not give me exactly what I need. I need the actual wheel base and the like. This breaks the truck down super nice, but again, it is not exactly what I need. Thanks

Re: Chassis Dimentions

Wheelbase is 131.5 for a lwb, 117.5 for a swb.
