here's the interior
it cleans up really nice considering it's been a farm truck for the last 35 years.....the seat has one small tear on the side of the bottom pad near the bottom of the seat and the dash pad is cherry!!!!........it's been sitting in this spot for about 8 years, and is going back to work this fall.........hopefully without that @$#%^

it's not silver.....well, kinda...it used to be blue...but it hasn't seen a shadetree in years...lol......
someday I'll restore it....but dad's still using it, therefore I can't have it yet because the deal is.....if i do the work on the engine, i get the truck when he's done with it....and i'm happy with that because i'm madly in love with this old dog and it was the first vehicle i ever drove. forgot to give some specs... originally 283 (went in the iron years ago) on it's 2nd 350 2bbl, still runnin' points SM420 4.10 gears or thereabouts locked diffs.....closed knuckles......big assed spicer hubs that are so dry you have to use pliers to lock them 16.5 split ring wheels with 33" tall tires that are about 7" wide....grrrr it ain't pretty, but it'll do more work than any of the old man's farm tractors in the mud!!!

current project 67 402BB stout th350 3.08's with a locker. Plan on tubs 18.5's out back! I haven't a clue how many miles this thing has.....as long as I can remember the spedo hasn't worked and dad wasn't worried about it.....but he's had it since 77, and it pulled a 20' tri axle stock trailer till 84, and it's never had a easy mile put on it. he bought it from the chevy dealer owner, who bought it new for use on his farm, it was equipped with a hoist under the box and he hauled hay and grain with it, we have a wood tailgate with a grain gate built into it....worked good for hauling seed wheat till he decided to put that @$%^&$ feedwagon box on there.

The feedwagon isn't too bad, adds character to it! Sounds like my grandfather's old dodge, only 79K on it, but went through 4 motors getting there.
Still looking pretty good though! I've seen some trucks that weren't worked as hard look a lot worse.

I especially like the inside door handle on the passengers side. Don't think it would be a real farm vehicle if it hadn't had that upgrade. (I know cause I grew up on a farm)

LOL, nice! I didn't catch that before--had to scroll over to see it. I don't know how many vise grips I've seen that have been designated to spend the rest of their useful lives as handles of all types (farmers! ). If you think about it, that's a pretty expensive handle!

yeah, that high dollar door handle was my idea.....i just noticed the chain laying on the floor.......hmm.....dad was chewin' my butt here awhile back because he was missing a 5/16 flatbed chain....i think that's it!!!

I missed the vice grips as well. Does it just have the one pair, or are there more being used as handles? When I picked up my 71, I found 4 pairs being used in it. Passenger window crank, driver's door crank, and a replacement for the nut holding the steering wheel on. I think one of the po's was going to switch steering wheels, but cross threaded the nut and ruined the threads, so he just used a pair of vice grips instead. Also found one inside the drivers door, used to keep the regulator together. Haven't found any under the hood yet, but wouldn't surprise me...

man, Scott, the deal you got on your truck just keeps getting better and better.......what did you give for that $600??.....and got $100 worth of vise grips in the deal.........i wish i could be so lucky!!!!
the 67 just has the one pair, unless he's pinching the heater hoses off with them......i haven't had the hood up since he parked it.
