Question frame ????????????

is the 67 frame the same as a 60-66 frame?
I know theres a bit of difference in the 67 and a 68-72.I'm looking for a passenger side frame mount for a 292 I6,the part that goes from the frame to the motor mount.I think all 67-72 292 mounts are the same, just need to know if the 60-66 will work too.

thanks

I can't tell you off the top of my head, I have a 65 sitting outside but it's too darn cold to go out & look right now.... If you don't get a reply I will go out and look tomorrow.

Re: frame ????????????

from your description, i believe you are referring to the engine towers...

don't know if they are the same, but if you look through the classified section, you should find a couple people with the correct towers for sale fairly cheap.

They seem to be fairly plentiful since most people switch from the I6 to the V-8, and then have no use for the I6 towers.

Hope this helps

I borrowed this pic from the classified section, they are BBC mounts, but illustrate what i believe you are looking for.

Well I finally found my '67-'72 six cyl mount towers and set them beside the ones on the 65 and they are the same. Sorry it took me so long to get back. I'll PM you just to make sure you get the info.
