Re: BROTHERS 9th ANNUAL TRUCK SHOW & SHINE
Isn't this on the same weekend as the National board meet in Missouri?

Re: BROTHERS 9th ANNUAL TRUCK SHOW & SHINE
Brothers has had theirs scheduled long before the board meet was put together. Plus not everyone can make it to the board meet so it will give the wc guys a place to go. I have never been to california, but always wanted to go to the brothers show.

Re: BROTHERS 9th ANNUAL TRUCK SHOW & SHINE
Too bad that it couldn't have a Salt Lake or Denver date, this would help out those of us farther east, centrally located between all of the shows that happen either East, or West of us.
But hey, I'm sure that there are plenty of members who will attend and give us the low-down to all the happenin' events. |

Re: BROTHERS 9th ANNUAL TRUCK SHOW & SHINE
I am considering registering for the show this year, but I have a question. Is this pretty much just show trucks in perfect condition? Or is there a variety of conditions shown? I will hopefully have a paint job and new bed wood by then, but in case I don't, I don't want to be the ONE GUY with a truck that looks like he should have 6 lawn mowers and 4 relatives in the truck...

Re: BROTHERS 9th ANNUAL TRUCK SHOW & SHINE
Any chance Brothers will take over MORE of the Park, for more trucks this year? was pretty tight the past few years.
Any goodies for Kids to be intertained with again this year??? I kow, i know, so many questions I still remember the first on at your Old shop, where your turn out for this was way more than everyone expected, I did some taxi service from the denny's to the store so people didnt have to walk like 3 miles LOL I am glad to see it has come this far and more and more to come! I am totally there again this year!!!!

its a thought for me but dont anybody hold thier breath , if i do go my truck will probably be trailered even though i hate trailer queens, but itll save gas and let me have more fun with it cruisin around and playin at the show or if possible i just might drive there, have to wait and see what happens either way

Re: BROTHERS 9th ANNUAL TRUCK SHOW & SHINE
I turned my Brother on to the Brothers show last year. At first he did not want to come over from Vegas but I talked him into it saying it is the best Chevy Truck show around. Well reluctantly he came over for the weekend and we attended the show that Sunday, it is all he ever talks about now . He decided to get his truck painted and ready for the show on the 8th, he has spent over $12K on paint and body mods just for the show, NOW if he can only STOP copying my mods on my truck and figure out a color for the thing.
He has talked 3 other truck enthusiasts from Vegas to attend as well. One of the guys bought that 72 pro-street black w/ red pearl ( looked like black cherry) and a newer bed that was on eBay about 8+ months ago (it was unsold on eBay for like 4 months, I know you guys remember it). And 2 other pro-street Chevy Trucks, I think one is a 72 and not sure what the other one is. We plan on staying all day A BIG kudos to all of the Brothers crew for doing these shows, they make sure that we are well taken care of. One of the biggest things that impressed me was that water & food was very reasonable, not like at most shows where water is $2.50 and you need to mortgage your home for food. I can't remember, but I think it was like $3.50 for 2 Churros and 2 waters (or something close to that). All of you who have not made it yet need to make it out to this show! See you there Mike |

That's about 12 miles from me so I will be stopping by! Also the link for the directions doesn't seem to work when you get to Mapquest.

I will be attending for sure. Don't have anything to show, but will be checking out all the other fine rides there. Had a great time last year. Brad
