windshield
how hard is it to pull the windshield without cracking the glass??
any tips ?? |

You can try what I did.... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...hlight=lockdoc Don't try to use anything smaller than what is listed and if your rubber is pretty stiff use some rubber lube around the inside. LockDoc

since iv got all new rubber can i just cut the rubber and pull the glass out of it??

Funny to see this thread pop up after I did this very thing last night (thursday) with using a hose to hold the gasket so that I could remove my windshield. Works like a charm, and thanks to LockDoc as he is where I got the idea from.

I just removed mine last weekend. The glue was holding it in so well I ended up breaking mine. I didn't really go to extremes trying to save it as it was all ready cracked, but it was definitely stuck good. I cut the rubber and pulled it off from the inside but the window still wouldn't budge.
