Trazers

I got a tip of a 68 gmc shortbed body on a 71 blazer chassis.I am going to go look at it tomorrow if its still there.Anyone else have one,or will I be the only one?I will be sure to take a few pics..It will be a good clone for my 71 4x4,only not a true shortbed 4x4

Re: Trazers

Is the front fenders and bed cut down 11" so the wheel wells are centered over the centerline of the wheels for the shorter blazers frame?

SWB = 115"
Blazer = 104" 11" difference

Re: Trazers

Wheelbase...Widebed...wheelbase....widebed...Laughin`Out Loud!!!

The bedside would need shortened between the wheelwell (or wheel opening???)to look right.For that matter,to"be right".I mean I wouldn`t want to add overhang that would give it shortbed rear angle of approach and look dorky.I guess they`re cool and all,but not for me.I like Blazers for what they are.I like trucks for what they are.FWIW,over.

Re: Trazers

Last time I looked the trazer still had the turbo 350 transmission and transfer case in it. It had the Dana 44 disc brake front but I believe no rear end
