Re: WTB rear lowering coils for 67
I got some drop springs! I also got some drop spindles! I also got an air ride set up for sale. I just did the mII conversion to mine. All my stuff is in very good shape, I just haven't decided how much for what. Ever consider air ride? It may be cheaper than you think. PM if your interested.

Re: WTB rear lowering coils for 67
These trucks take a LOT of extensive work to start dragging things. You don't have to worry about that with a simple bag setup.

Re: WTB rear lowering coils for 67
nitro,
i am green at this.... this sounds like the amount of drop i am looking for. Did these not drop your truck as much as you had wanted? My truck was ordered (from GM) with heavy duty rear coils.. so the rear is really in the air... am wanting to bring it down maybe 4 inches... to make things closer to level.. |

Re: WTB rear lowering coils for 67
I used the 4" drop springs with 1.5" lowering blocks. The picture in my avatar shows how this looks with a 29" tire. I have not c'd the frame and nothing hits with that combination. I picked up a set of 5" coils to install and get a little lower. I may have clearance problems at the total rear drop of 6.5" but I'll "C" the frame if it hits.
let me know.

Re: WTB rear lowering coils for 67
I have a set of 5" dropped rear springs sitting at home. Drove a summer on them. Need a place for them to go cheaply. PM for more info and prices, I don't want to break any rules (I'm unsure of rules of replying to WTB and not being a subscriber).
Only problem is I'm not going to be at their location for 2 weeks (I'm in college).

Re: WTB rear lowering coils for 67
hard to keep track of who wants what, but i will have a set of front and rear springs available, as soon as i pull them from my truck. The fronts are cut, and the rears were heated to lower them. i figure $40 plus shipping is a good price
you can look at the link in my sig for pics showing how it sits. I'll have them all pulled in the next month. |
