If you mean from an early 90's Burb, Blazer, or 1 ton then yes it will be a bolt in. If it is from the later body style it can be made to work, but probably won't be a simple plug and play.

Re: steering collumn ????

I'm not 100% sure but I think from 73 to 87 chevy truck will work. 88 is when the truck body changed. The Blazer and the Suburban didn't change until 92. So you should be able to use a 73 to 91 Blazer or Suburban column. They should all interchange with each other. If I am wrong someone correct me. I just saw screwball's post. So I guess the information is correct.

There is one major difference between 73-83 and 84-91 columns. The 84-91 columns have the wiper and dimmer on the column which makes for wiring changes.

There was also a change around 77 or 78 where the end of the column was changed from splined to a two flat configuration. You just need to get the matching intermediate shaft to get around that problem.

Re: steering column ????

ok. so if he finds,,,say, a 90 model pickup will it work as long as the one being replaced has the wiper/dimmer on the column or not? It does have the switches on the column btw., As long as it will bolt up can you change parts around to make it work?
