Drop ?
I want to lower my '68 long box. Not alot, just set it down abit. How can I determine how far to go without buying parts I may not want? Its 4 wheel drum and 6 lug. It will stay that way awhile. Any help appreciated. Thanks guys.

Re: Drop ?
sdkid- I was in your situation last year and decided to buy a pair of 4" rear lowering springs and cut one and a quarter coils off the front springs. This gave me almost 3 inches of drop. I recently installed a disc brake kit and went with 2 1/2" drop spindles. I'll sell you my cut springs for $40 delivered if you are interested. Here is a before and after shot with just the springs! The first pic looks like a 4x4,lol.

Re: Drop ?
Well I think thats about how I want it. I'm not ready to buy anything just yet. I hope this can happen in early summer. I'm wanting spindles for the front.

Re: Drop ?
I like the 3 1/2"-5' drop too. I guess I'll have to save and swap to disc if I want spindles though.
