Re: Classic Dodge Truck message board?

No site for Utilines?I had a`69 that I restored around 1980.Hard to get parts from the dealer(or anywhere but junkyards).I combined it with a`68 and painted it a 68/69 Dodge Truck color. It was rusted-out in`77...8 years old. And,was a rare site at that time:

Re: Classic Dodge Truck message board?

I have always been a big Dodge truck fan. Owned few, and they were all good. I would like to restore a '69 D-100 or D-200 Adventurer someday, but not only are they hard to find, parts are just about impossible. No one makes anything for them. Even the Cummins guys with '89-'93 Rams cry about the lack of parts availability.

Christine... the 1958 Plymouth Fury. If it wasn't for her, I don't think I would be as in to... cars in general, if it weren't for her. I gotta admit, the Dodge.Chrystler/Plymouth line were way cool in the muscle car era.

You got scared into cars,huh?
Yeah bob,Mopar is a misnomer(sp?).It should be Lesspar.I had a guy that worked for chrysler admit(back when I had mine)that parts support was very poor.Any part I needed from the dealer took 6 weeks to get and often came through wrong.
Here are some I like:
