cab mount help

Does anyone know how the front cab mounts come out of a 67 chevy pickup, are the front cab mounts bolts or studs or do they go through the floor because mine are like bolts with nuts but how do the bolts come out because i cannot find the head

Re: cab mount help

they're bolts that go thru the floor // theyre usually tack welded in place// take the nuts off them grind off the spot welds and stip out the bolts to replace the mounts

Re: cab mount help

cdowns is right on the front. if u want to take the bolt all the way out your gonna have to peel the carpet back to get to the head of the bolt!! The rear cab mounts are the opposite if it's like my 71 you can remove from the bottom---exact opposite of front. Hope this helps.
