Pricing help

My truck has shaved doors, but came with the originals. I'm going to put the originals back on, but have no idea what to ask for the shaved doors when I sell them. Any suggestions?

Re: Pricing help

Depends on the shape of the doors, rust, speaker holes and what set up was used for the release. I dont think they are really worth any more than normal doors of the same shape unless you find that guy who just has to have them. I pick up dors quite abit for $100 each in real good shape.

Re: Pricing help

That sounds reasonable. No rust and real straight. But they have 6x9 speaker holes punched in them and the "set up" for release is reaching in through the window...

And don't even get me started about the interior being "painted" with bed liner. That's a rant thread for a later date.

Re: Pricing help

Well...now that someone got two posts out of your thread w/o help, let me try.The speaker holes don`t matter. They`re already custom doors and I`d just thank you for giving a place to mount some speakers.Alot easier to fix than undoing the shave-job.
I`d go with Kevin`s reply. They`d be worth nothing to an "original" seeker because the labor outweight the cost.To a guy wanting just what you`ve got? He`d have to weigh the labor saved and may give $200@.But,it`s a limited group,so I`d average it to $100.Not that I wouldn`t try for double first.Especially if it`s done right and they`re solid doors to begin with.

Re: Pricing help

Thanks all. I think I'm going to put them on the local classifieds (not sure if it's OK to say "craigslist" on this board -- but it really is a big help) for $200, with the added bonus of $100 if the buyer helps me put the originals back on. What can I say -- I'm lazy and I have no garage.
