Can I use the fuel tank from 73 in my 70 and have it work with my 70 guage
Thinking about putting a larger tank in from a 73 but wonder if the sending unit will work with the 67-72 guages? Thanks...

LMC shows a different part number but I think its due to shape or length of the sending unit. The guage still reads the information the same, correct?

I am taking a stab and assuming you mean for the Blazer in your avatar? In that case it should. However, if you are talking a truck tank, I am pretty sure the 73 tank will not mount on the earlier frame due to cab and trailing arm position.

It may not bolt right up(not sure why). They fill on opposite sides. But it will go and shouldn`t take much.

gm has always used the same type of sending 0-90ohm so yes the gauge will read correctly
