Wink

WE had a great day! big.l.a is a heck of a guy, we couldn,'t keep him from rolling under my brothers truck we were trying to lower and getting knee deep in all the work.
Friends are hard to come by but, man, when you find them that love 67-72 trucks as much as i do, it can only be a great deal.
I very much look forward to talking to you in the future.
I have met 5 board members and have found 5 new friends without eception.

A word of caution you have to watch big.l.a, he is a washer pitching guru---------- what a nice guy!

we had to trim a little out of the brace, by the shackle.Everything worked great, looks good.Put the spindles on it today and rear sway bar.Drives real good.
I even had time to pull the rear sway bar off of the T/A to go on my 69.
Thanks a lot for the help yesterday.A cutting torch helped to speed the job up.

You aren't too far from my mother's house in Gladewater...do you have any more bucket seats? I'm looking for a set to go in my 68 I have the original bracket and console, just need the seats. I could always use more friends with similar interests....everyone I have met from this board has been great...plus it would make my mother happy if I would drive up there for a change.

Sorry Dirt Dobber i only had one pair but I will keep an eye out for another and Gladewater is where i buy all my adult beverages since it is a dry county here.
bgbchevy we need to get together sometime and chew the fat, we are a stones throw away. Give me a shout and we can pitch a game of washers some time.
I think I saw someone from Winona once.
Anyone else in this area or maybe this is a whole new post.

I agree, people in texas are way cool. Me and dad got caught up in a hell of a storm at the last Nascar race and ran out of beer. Hell, we could'nt force that guy to let us pay him for all the beer we bummed off of him! By the way, Okies are pretty cool too!
