73-87 to 67-72
any benefits for putting a 73-87 crossmember in my 70? is there any old threads that might have more on this topic?

Some people will bolt-in the entire crossmember but you can just use the important stuff & your original crossmember. The important stuff would be the entire steering system (spindles, tie-rods, drag-link), sway-bar (if you don't already have one), a-arms, & of course.... the disc brakes.

Here are a couple of links with info on this swap. Swapping the entire crossmember over is very straightforward. There are only two bolt holes that need to be modified. Also, parts for the newer style suspensions are very cheap.
