yep, you got it right....
And these people fall into a few catigorys... Morons...ppl who won't listne when you try to explain it to them. Uninfomred...will correct tehmselve after one tells them. CON ARTIST...knows but just wants someone's $$ and crack head...doesn't know what year it is. ![]() you got it right NOS ...New old stock....made in the day that the trucks were built, but ever installed. Normally stil in GM box, (not to be confused with NAWS) OEM...Original equipment manufacturer. New stuff made by the origignal companies...may be a repro, or just a re-release from old molds or casting. |

Misuse of the NOS is just as irritating as the misuse of the words Mint Condition or just Mint. Some people must not realize just how perfect something must be to be in Mint Condition.

Some NOS stuff you see gets alot of "Shelf" wear or has been stored in a wet place and gets rusty. I look for original GM wrapping when buying NOS Parts. I also wouldn't buy a piece unless there is a good picture of it.
You can't beat the quality on some trim-chrome pieces IMO.
