Love the stance and the wheels are cool too! I don't think you should paint it, either. I think it looks cool the way it is.

Re: Take a look! She's gone down!

Wow! Things are really coming together. Have you picked a color for it yet? Looks like you may have to change the name to project profit maker. Of course if you start calculating in the hourly rate for fab skills........the project name could change yet again.

Yep it will be white and green two tone but I have not picked the actual green yet. I will take a few pics with me to SanLeandro color and just fine somthing that hits me when I am their. I can't wait for the paint part of this build. Right now I am finishing up a truck that has about $2500 in just paint supplies alone and it is great working with such high end stuff then I will start this one that will be about $200 plus paper and polishing compound! It sure won't last as long but what the heck right.
Yes if time was being added up this would be far from a Low Buck project but that is why it is a doit your self kind of thing.

Hey guys thank you for all the kind words about what I do but just keep in mine I started off not knowing any of this stuff. I just keeped at it and read everything car mag I got my hands on and am not afraid to try anything. I still have along way to go before I am were I want to be in this trade.

Yep they are 15's that have been in the side yard for years now but they are trashed. It will be getting stock truck ralleys from a board member. 7's in front and 8's out back.
It has been a real fun build doing one for as little cash as posible. Here are the curent total's. $2476.42 and 85hrs

This truck looks great. I wouldn't paint it either and the stance is perfect. What does the flip give you in the rear? Front is 4.5"?

Sorry but it is getting paint! I plan on using Nason single stage paint with clear added into the paint. Then it will get wet sanded and buffed for a show car like finish all for under $300

Yes the front is 4.5" and teh rear is between 6" & 7" (I forgot to check before I did it)

Looks a ton better. The cost isn't what amazes me, it's all that work in only 85hrs.

Yes but labor rates are different all over and that is why I only posted time and parts. But yes at $80 per hr it is still a good deal for a truck.

Re: Take a look! She's gone down!

Did the same thing over the weekend. My wife didn't want me to have a lowered truck. She ended up not even noticing that I had dropped my truck. Not sure if that says something about the truck or the wife.

Sure like the wheels you've got on it now.
