I've gone and done it now!

Well, I haven't been around here too much lately because I've been working on my Corvette a lot, but now I've got it looking pretty good, so it's time to turn some attention on the truck again. 1.5 weeks ago my uncle that I got my truck from stops by and I mention that I'd love to find another cab to replace my junk one on the truck. He calls me a couple of nights later and says he found one, so long story short, I now have parts truck behind my garage (a frame, cab, bed, and 4 wheels). I plan to get rid of everything but the cab in short order. The cab has the usual rust on the corners, rockers and floors, but the good part is it is solid as a rock over the windsheild, where the cab on my truck is shot. We tore into it some yesterday after getting it to the house. I figure I'll build a dolly of some sort to set the cab on so I can tuck it in a corner of the garage until I have the $$ to do something with it.

I did that too but I got a parts truck just for the bed and you are one up on me my parts truck is taking space in the drive way I think my neighbors love it. Also I will tell you that the dollie from rkcrln is great it is well worth the money it took to build.

Well right now the parts truck is taking up room in the driveway, although, like I said, it is back behind the garage. It's in plain sight of my neighbors, which is why I don't want it around for long. There are a couple of peices off of it I will save besides the cab, but most is headed for the scrap heap.
