Shade tree mechanic
I think this picture fits
My friend got some money available so we decided to tear into his Mustang. Without a trailer to pull it to the shop, we made do with what we had. It worked!

We picked the biggest branch in our yard, I dont think there was much chance of it falling. We even used it to lift the front of the car up and put tires under the front wheels. The old trees are protected here too. Apartment developers have been trying to buy the lot we live on for years, but it always gets shot down b/c the city wont let them touch all the old trees on it.

Re: Shade tree mechanic
I haven't seen that done in a while! One of my good friends was pullin a pontiac engine via shade tree, when the branch broke and conked him on the head! He was OK but to say we were concerned was an understatement.

Re: Shade tree mechanic
if that old tree is anything like the Oak trees where I live (Thousand Oaks), those branches break off all the time. The trees are protected in our city from being cut down, so if there is one in a parking lot, a mandatory sign is put on them saying "park here at your own risk".
