To WELD or NOT to WELD?
Greetings folks from this windy Central California day
 . I'm getting my frame cut tomorrow for a CPP c-notch kit. Its the basic bolt on kit for trucks lowered 6" or more. My question today is " Should I also weld it on in addition to the bolts?" Is so, should it be a full weld or tacked? I appreciate you advice. Throw in some pics i you got'em.

are you guys using mig welders or arc welders for this i have the same kit
and bolth kinds of welders

I think most of the guys are using MIG.

Hey folks thanks for the feedback. I got the frame notched on Wednesday and we did weld it in some areas. The guy was a liitle concerned about warping the metal so we did not completely weld it.

throw the bolts away.Weld them in a few inches at a time,jump from side to side and make sure things are cool enough to hold onto with barehand before welding more.You'll be set!
*edit* if you go with stick use 7018.1/8" would work great.

nice weld job, but have him weld the rest of it, its not gona warp if you take your time between beads and not run big beads, just run a few inches at a time from side to side, cause right now with only some of it welded its not near as strong as it could/should be
