85 GMC gas door
Anybody got a diagram of the gas door assembly. Mines flappin' in the wind and I just can't figure that half circle spring thingy installation out. Maybe I'm missing a piece.

I could not find a pic on line from any catalogue I have available. The spring thingy snaps over the curved part of the "arm" that holds the door. The ends of the curved flat spring should point to the rear and back side toward the front. Hard to explain but may it helps.

Thanks gchemist.....fixed it!
Believe it or not those instructions actually made sense. Turns out that the slot thingy that the spring thingy fits into on one side had rusted, fatigued and finally broke. I was able to rebuild the metal with my arc welder and put all the thingys back together. EVERYTHINGY is better now! Thanks again
