Upper and Lower Control Arm Shafts?
Is there a way to check them while the vehicle is all together? Thanks

not really since there under tension from the springs. You could put a block under the lower arm and have someone with a very long bar try to move the suspention up and down to see if you have any play. If your getting a clattering noise when you hit a bump in the road your A-Arm shafts are probably shot. Time to go to work.
