Looking for a link - side view for wheels/tires
I had bookmarked a link from an old post, but the link is now broken. It was a website where you could select your year, make and model vehicle, and then drop it or put various size wheels and tires on it to see what it would look like. You could also change the paint color and tint the windows, if I recall correctly. Does anyone have a link to that site or one like it? I'm in the market for wheels and there were a ton of them on that site.
Thanks!

Re: Looking for a link - side view for wheels/tires
Tires.com and tirerack.com both have virtual wheel selection tools, but they are very limited in vehicle type and color.
the site you described sounds cool

Re: Looking for a link - side view for wheels/tires
Found another link to get to where I wanted...
The actual tool is called NextWheels Online. Go to the address below, then click on the "Launch NextWheels Online" button. http://www.fountaintire.com/custom_w...rtual_wheels/# Looks like it may have been updated a little since I used it last... the background behind the vehicle is much darker now (you can't see how the window tint looks very well).

Re: Looking for a link - side view for wheels/tires
Looks like we posted at the same time, C10-Driver. Thanks for the help, though. The app from your second link has the background I remember seeing from before. Looks like the same application from the same outfit (autowaretech), but different versions perhaps. I wonder if they both have the same wheel selection...

Re: Looking for a link - side view for wheels/tires
Here is a link to a cool wheel visualizer built by Primedia. Somebody posted this on the boards a while back and I think they actually did some work on it. Classic Trucks magazine also did a write-up on it.
http://www.virtuwheel.com/primedia/w...g=classictruck Newstalgia Wheels has an older style wheel selector with a larger selection or wheels. http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/wheel_visualizer.asp

Re: Looking for a link - side view for wheels/tires
I have found links to the "NextWheels" tool on numerous tireshop websites. It seems that is is the same app with different wheel selections based on what that shop carries. The Primedia visualizer is brand new and provides a much more realistic view of the wheels on the vehicle. I can't wait until they expand it and provide a larger selection of wheels and vehicles.

Re: Looking for a link - side view for wheels/tires
That's what happened the first time, I posted a link to the Primedia wheel selector and it wasn't working. Right away I edited my post to replace it with a working link but, instead of fixing the incorrect link, I replaced the Newstalgia link with the Primedia one.
