Dash Paint....textured...removing?

I'm in the processing detailing the cab of my truck and noticed that on dash between the pad and the windshield and the the cab roof is a textured paint which is a darker green than the color on the rest of the truck. The question I have is there a way of removing this without repainting. I noticed on the dash were it has been scratched it shows the base color of the truck.

Re: Dash Paint....textured...removing?

it's supposed to be a flat paint version of the truck's body.
