Convert 67 to 68-72 box?

I have seen the filler plates to smooth a 68-72 box and make it a 67 style box but does anyone have pics and description of converting 67 box with no side markers to 68-72 with side markers. can you cut out the holes and add the recessed area or do you have to cut out of a newer(68-72) box and weld them in?

Re: Convert 67 to 68-72 box?

getting the holes from a junk bed and welding them into the other bed would be alot easier, unless somebody sells the spots to weld in

Why dont you just find someone with a 68-72 bed that wants to trade. If you are cutting and welding, you'll end up repaintin the bed anyways.
