Ignition problems
Hi all,
I went to start my truck today and i noticed somethig strange about the ignition switch. when I turned the switch the engine cranked as normal but didn't fire until I let go. Then after unning for awhile I went to turn it off, but when I turn the key off the truck kept running, but kinda crappy like if you when turning the igniton off then restarting it before the motor completly dies. I'm guessing I need a new switch but I would like to get a second opinion, or three.... 4...5...6.. thanks for any help. Joe |

Re: Ignition problems
I've had that problem a couple times, but most notably mine won't always crank. I replaced the starter and solenoid trying to correct the problem, but had the same thing happen. Turns out it is a bad switch, ofcourse I haven't replaced it in 3 years and still have the problem, but it always starts after cycling the key a few times...
