? about fit
will 67/71 2 wd bb eng towers work when changing a 350 to a 427 in a 71 k-20? and is there anything else needed for the change? thanks for any help.

there's more work involved with a big block into a 4X4... do a search, it's been covered many times... or, you could start a thread about putting a BB in a 4X4. The title of this one won't get much traffic of ppl in the know, since it is a small percentage of ppl.

Bill,I dont know about using the BBC towers,but you could look at the 73-87s 4x4s that had BBC's that you could take the crossmember off to use.As for clearance,you most likely will have the distributor and valve covers hitting the fire wall.You could fix this by moving the motor/tranny crossmembers forward or adding a body lift.
