How do you ID a 50th anniversary truck?

Can anyone tell me what identifies a 50th anniversary truck other than color? Was anything listed on the option sheet?

Thanks.

Scott

Were they only Chevrolet, or were any GMC?

Only Chevrolet in 1968. The option is identified by the color code on the glove box spid 04551AA IVORY/GOLD. GMC's 50th anniversary would have been in about 1951 depending upon when truck historians determine the first model was built.

Re: How do you ID a 50th anniversary truck?

yes, that is a 50th, you can tell from the gold dash pad.
Bummer the seat is gone.
It has to have the 627 int trim color, and the 551 paint.
