I went and test drove an 07 excab silverado ltz...?
Nice ride, the sales guy jerked me around a bit, said 5.9%, I was like no way, he told me no specials, then what do I see when I come home that evening, 0% chevy commercial...what a lamer.
Maybe I'll wait til summers over.

Yea you got to watch the salesmen. I wanted the new body style but they had just got them on the lot and wouldn't budge a penny on price so i got a heck of a deal on the 06.

I have your trucks twin, how do you like it so far,I just got mine in november and put almost 6k on it so far, did yours come with the 3.73 or 3.42-mine 3.42

Mine has the 3.73 limited slip. I got mine on haloween and hace a little over 7k on her.

Did you put a billet grill in yours? How hard was it to do?

I bought it off ebay for $70 with shipping, the one I bought is the bolt over kind, goes right over the stock black grill with 4 J shaped brackets and only took about 15min. to install.

this is the best pic I have off it-last pic is my old truck I traded in on the new one

One thing that I did to my 05 CC was to put lowering shackles on the rear to level it out. It really improved the ride, and made it feel a lot more stable, too. That being said, it was never used to haul anything really heavier than an engine/trans, either.
