don't know about the distributater, but I bought a clear cap a few years ago and it was junk... can't remember the brand. the coil button in the center wouldn't fit the cap and I had to drill the cap out, it was the same size as my original. also, I thought it would be cool at night, nope. the only time you could see the spark jump the gap was when the timing was off.

Looks like the one whites performance (eBay) sells, I have one and a few other here have one.
