Dumb brake question.
Are the 11" x 2" brake drums on the front of a '56 Bel air the same size as the 11" x 2" rear brake drums on a '68 truck. I understand the bolt pattern is different, but I need the 5 x 4 3/4" pattern. Looking for a way to not have to redrill ,my rear drums.
Thanks! Shawn

Re: Dumb brake question.
First thing I would do is check the diameter of the center hole. Then the thickness of the the drum metal. If they are the same then they may work.

Re: Dumb brake question.
The rear axles will be drilled to whatever patern is on there now.You will still need to redrill the rear axles or swap rearends.

Re: Dumb brake question.
if the bolt pattern is the same and the center hole will fit over the axle then they should be fine
