A/C vent tubes.
Anyone replace the A/C vent tubes behind the dash? You know, the slinkey pipe. It doent have to be the factory cloth wrapped stuff, but what have you guys used? And where did you get it?

I just did it, i used plastic repro from LMC, also used the center vent plug set kit, be patience when routing the new tubes.

Any of the BB vendors will have replacements.Other than squirming under the dash the defrost ones were easy.I've never done the A/C ones.If you're replacing your dashpad or cluster then that is the time to do it.

What about the clips where the duct snaps to the ball housing? I noticed mine were broken slitely but it looked like a special end on the duct?! Do the kits come "as factory"?

It's been awhile since I replaced mine, about all I remember is there were cuss words involved. I will offer one helpful hint, if there is anything else you need to do under the dash (dash pad, stereo, ac/heater controls, wiring, new glovebox liner, etc.), plan ahead and get it all done while you have the dash torn apart. You'll be glad you did, I promise!

Warm the plastic tubes up with a hair dryer or the heat from your system...much easier.
I replaced all mine. Tim
