swapped the bed today
Swapped the bed today and put on the new fleet side. I still cant decide which to use...maybe I should paint them both and hold them on with wing nuts so I can swap then out depending on my mood LOL

Re: swapped the bed today
Fleetside makes it look like a long Blazer. The stepside makes it look like a convertible truck.. This coming from a stepside, fleetside, Blazer, and Panel owner...lol WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Re: swapped the bed today
thefleet looks sleek, the step kinda choppy... too much grabbin your eyes at once.
And to follow suit, I lean towards the step sides on a SWB. |

I vote for the wing nuts/overhead hoist option. "Today I feel like a stepside!"

I say you use the fleetside and I'll help you "dispose" of the stepside bed. .............Bamm!

Re: swapped the bed today
I don't really like the convertible trucks all that much (don't take that the wrong way. You're truck looks great. Just not my style) but I do like the idea of a swappable bed. Some days I may want a fleet bed but I'll always want my stepside. I may keep the wing nut idea in my mind for the future. I just thought of this....That'd be like owning two different trucks but only paying the license and registration on one.

Re: swapped the bed today
I agree with Wes, it does look like a lengthened Blazer with the fleet, go stepper.

Re: swapped the bed today
My truck carries too much crap to run a step bed. I like the looks though.

Re: swapped the bed today
With the convertable top, the truck seems to flow better with the fleetside bed.
As much as I love short steppers, I'd go fleetside on this one
