71 gmc swb fleet (should i buy?)
hey board members, i have'nt been able to post in a while (work). i got a lead on a truck today and went to check it out. it's 71 gmc swb fleet, it has a 350 w/ a 3 on the tree. the guy will also throw in 2 extra doors, 4 vent window assemblies, 3 extra gauge clusters, a set of finned M/T valve covers, and a load of extra knobs, emblems and, other assorted goodies. the engine stacked a rod bearing and has been sitting for about a year. it also has fair tires and a set of cragar s/s mags on it in ok condition. the truck has the usual rust problems- rusting rockers, and cab corners but the rest is ok.
the problem is that i don't need another truck, but how can i resist this DEAL. and get this, for a price of 200 for all. i wish somebody could give me one good reason to not buy it but i can't think of one. will drag it home monday and figure how i'll support another vehicle (resto costs, insurance, gas, etc.....)

dang, that's cheap, I'd be all over it if I were you, regardless of place to keep it, future plans, etc, etc. after all, everyone should have at least 2 trucks, the more the marrier i always say!!.....and if it's that cheap, with all those extras, you can't go wrong. Too bad I don't live closer, I'd snap it up if you turned it down.
