? for someone with a LWB and SWB
I need to get my SWB inspected and to do this I need to get me E-brake functioning. I am missing the rod on the passenger side that goes to the intermediate cable. Is this rod the same on LWB and SWB? I can rob the one off my LWB to get by until I can get a replacement.
Can someone take a measurement for me? I would hate to go to all the trouble of jacking up my 70 to pull it off and it not work. I know the intermediate cables are different, but that makes me think the rods are all the same. thanks Darryl |

Yes,it appears to be the same.I don`t know why it would be different.Look at the bracket fastenrd to the floor that the cable runs to.The front edge is about 1" back from that raised area that the seat bolts to on both.

Re: ? for someone with a LWB and SWB
Thanks for the info. its what I figured too.
Rob, I have one locally, I just have to drive out and pick it up but thanks for the offer. I'll snatch it off my beater and then replace it with the one on the parts truck. Thanks |
