newb from north dallas
Well that pruddy much somes it up. I got a '68 Longhorn that my grandfather bought new. It was the only new vehicle that he ever bought. He bought it for what it was made for. So i got some old camping pics of the rig. I don't remember how many miles are on it, cause its waiting to be brought home but i don't think it was more than 50k. I hoping yall can help me decide where I want the restoration to go.
Thanks, Joshua

Re: newb from north dallas
I grew up in Richardson and live in Allen now. But the albertsons might be closed the one in Allen closed a month ago. I have friend with a 65 C10 he thinks it's faster than the 442, which we've proven it's not.
Thanks, Joshua

Re: newb from north dallas
Welcome guys, from South Dakota...
I used to live in Richardson, then Garland, then Plano, then Frisco... also lived in Lewisville for awhile. Is Forest Lane still the cruisen' spot? Is Manana still a happen place? Man, I miss Dallas sometimes. Is Micheal Cain Racing Engines still open? How about ET Automotive? You ever hear of Fastimes Automotive? It closed in December of 1993. I worked there from 1991 until it closed... ahhhhh, the good old days...

Re: newb from north dallas
I was told forrest lane was a huge crusing spot in the 80's and early 90's. To my knowledge forrest lane is no longer a hang out. Thought that burger place of northwest highway and 635 in garland is still a hangout. I haven't been there in 2 years and I can't believe I forgot the name.
