Dually challenge on eBay.
Hey guys, I usually don't get over to this part of the board but I'm hoping you 73 - 87 guys can help me out. I come across a truck on eBay the other day while browsing and it was listed as a "1969 CHEVROLET CHEVY LONGHORN FACTORY DUALLY." Now I know that the only way it could be a dually from the factory is if it was a cab and chassis truck. I know chevy did not produce factory dually pick up trucks until later in the 70's. What I need to know is when they started to produce dually pick ups and where I can find some definitive proof of that. The seller issued me a challenge when he told me to prove to him that it wasn't a factory dually pick up. Thanks.

Re: Dually challenge on eBay.
As far as I know, dually pickup beds were first offered on 1 tons in 1973. Are you looking for something like this:
