kaboom
so i am cruzin on the 417 doin about 70 mph headed to the airport and everything is great. then kaboom and smoke. so i turn the truck off and pull over. oil appears to be pouring out around the crank case seal (though i am not 100% sure). i check the oil and its low but hey there appears to be no coolant in it plus there what at least 4 qts since it was able to read it on the dipstick (right?). my buddy shows up with the trailor and i start it up to drive it up on the trailor and its knockin something fierce. i get it on the trailor and now its pouring out coolant and oil. to make it worse i missed my flight by like 15 minutes and the next flight out is delayed till 940pm.
so i think i snapped rod. now i guess its time for a big block. hmmm

Re: kaboom
Sweet truck - sounds like it just gave you a reason for an upgrade! Welcome to the board.
