31x18-20 Micky Thompson?
Just wondering if anyone is running MT 31x18-20 on the rear? Did you have to do any work to the frame? Or did they fit between the frame and the fenders? Sorry for the ?'s but I don't have a bed yet so not sure if they will fit. I want a narrow rear end with some deep 20's on bags.
Thanks for any help. Jack

i have 33 19.5 on my 71 and they do fit but the trailing arms couldnt be used, with a 31 tire you may be able to use the trailing arm if you dont lower to much.

Re: 31x18-20 Micky Thompson?
I had 31x18.5x15 Mickey T's using a stock width 67-68 12-bolt w/trailing arms, stock frame rails w/the bumpstop removed, & custom off-set wheels. Of course it required widening the tubs to the frame rails.
The 20" version should fit the same. If I were to do it again, I would get a slightly shorter rear end to keep the wheel BS centered & have a deeper 'dish' w/o having a 'pro-street' narrowed look.
