blazer tank in 2wd swb
i wanted to put one in my 86 shortbed but the i was wondering about ground clearence. my back is about to get bagged soon.

Blazer tank will work, but you probably don't wanna use one if your bagging your truck. The blazer tank will hang low below your bumper and you might drag a hole in it. I think ccp or performance online.com make a fabriacated tank that sits much higher in the frame. Also another idea would be get a rear tank from maybe a Ford truck from say 1987 to 1995 that had double tanks because the back tank is mounted like a blazer but is much more shallow and will maybe not hang below rear bumper.>>>>>>

I got a buddy who done a rear tank install on his 4x4 show truck and it BARELY hangs below the frame. I need to find out what bracket he used, how he mounted or attached them and what tank. I'll post a pic tomorrow if I can remember.
