side exit exhaust

I just got done putting on a set of shorty headers on my 1969 chevy truck swb fleet side and was wanderin about running the exhaust outside the frame to exit in front of the rear wheels. Then I got this idea of running it thru the body down low right before the wheel opening.I have seen something like this on some other cars and trucks and it looks like exhaust tip bolts to the metal and the exhaust pipe connects to the tip.I have looked at pictures that Stylin Concepts have, but I don't care for the twin tips look.If anybody got any ideas, please let me know.
