? for the 4WD guys
Can anybody tell me if a leaf spring rear from a 2WD truck is the same as the leaf spring rear from a 4WD truck? Thanks, big

The spring width is different,I think..

you mean the individual spring width or the left spring to right spring width?

The springs are the same just less of a arch,the front hangers are different and the shackles are longer on a 2 wheel drive 1/2 ton.

Thanks guys, just trying to figure out if I should keep a rear from the 2wd leaf parts truck incase I need it for my new 4x4 c10. big

My 72 C20 had wider spring perch widths, AND an off center, center pin (front to back) compared to a sprung 69' 4x4.

4X4 2 1/2", 2WD 2 1/4" width springs. Also the rear frame sections between 4X4 and 2WD (leaf) frames.
