Been busy tring to get my truck back on the road get gets pretty old looking at it sitting in the garage so I m on a mission to get it done and on the road paint maybe a ways down the road but at least I will be able to enjoy it... I stripped the frame down and welded up al the unused holes and got some por-15 on it,sectioned the crossmember and....btw the pics are backwards the top pic is where im at now..

More air ride tech stuff and bags along with more por-15... I need to pull the rotors off and spindals and get powder coated....

All together and sitting on the ground.......... Got the steering all clearanced just need to get the box hooked to the column.. Stll needs to come back apart to route the airlines for the bags,powder coart the steering and touch up the por-15 on the crossmember..

My new rockers cam yesterday so I figured that when my arms wear out from sanding I can work on the rocker replacement.... Hopefull this thread will get me to work on the truck and keep it going....

Progress is good. I opened the door on my blazer yesterday, was greeted with a million spider webs. I still have duct tape holding the smog pump from turning.... My dog didnt even want to get inside of it....

Is that bondo type filler on the firewall going to not shrink or crack after time?

looks great , did you fill the area on the firewall, where the wires sit on with mudd? or did you fill it with metal first. keep up the great work looks killer

Filled it with metal first took forever to weld and grind the the srtip of metal in....beavis if its gonna shrink so is the rest of the repairs that I have done.... Should be ok...

Looks great keep it up! I've got to dig into my rockers to, but the rest of the paint doesnt look to bad.
I dont want a smaller probelm to turn into a very expensive big one..
