Getting Noticed :)
Got some new fun in the mail Friday. Finally got my horns I bought off of EBAY. I have them installed but there are some things I had to temporarily move . I was wanting to mount this on the outside of the frame rails but right now my exhaust is there so I mounted the tank on the inside just opposite of where it will be in the outside for when I redo the exhaust in the future. I have to move the e-brake cable holder and the holder for the rear light wiring after I switch it to the outside those will be put back. The horn is on the inner fender until the pass. side exhaust is moved then I'll get that out of the engine bay. The install was easy the only thing that is hard was trying to find the best place for the stuff. Also the hole in the bottom of the dash above the e-brake handle I mounted a selector switch that way I can pick the train horns or the truck horn to us my horn button to work.

Re: Getting Noticed :)
The stock horn did sound anemic compared to your train horns. I wish you would have blasted your air horns a bit longer to hear their real effect .

They also sell through Ebay The only problem I had was the the relief valve released before the 120 psi so I called them and they were going to send another right out. They called me back and let me know that the one that was installed was adjustable and how to get it to work. The customer service was great.

Re: Getting Noticed :)
Please use responsibly, unlike the a-holes in Miami, FL (big fad there a couple of years ago) who used them just to scare people off the road. It went along with their 26.5" rimmed dually with chrome truck nuts (these trucks were standard issue for a-holes). I saw an old lady in tears one day because of the horn.
Pretty cool though, I wish I had one myself. Reminds me of my grandpa's brass cruise ship horn he traded someone for. I couldn't stand within 50 feet of that thing when it went off. Of course it was about 24" tall and 300 lbs.

Re: Getting Noticed :)
what;s the min/max psi for those babies? i already have the tank and compressor for my bags, and thought about getting a set of horns to go along with it.
Would be fun to "entertain" the imports at the stop lights... |

Re: Getting Noticed :)
I've got the same horns on my Dodge. I've run up to 150lbs so far. I'm going to transfer them to my Chevy when it's back on the road.

Re: Getting Noticed :)
I wish I can go that high but the tank isn't rated for that much. Oh well wife says it is too loud how it is. So I think it is just right

Re: Getting Noticed :)
I usually only run mine at 120 psi too. That's plenty loud enough
