1/2 ton stock coil spring length?
Anybody have measurements of the length of stock 1/2 ton front coil springs +- the fatigue from old age?
I think mine are front drop springs.

I can take measurements of my truck if you want.

Are you talking about springs that are not installed, or compressed?

My old ones are about 14-1/4". I purchased some 1" drop ones that were much more than 1" shorter when they were uncompressed. I don't know how they will sit with all the weight on them.

Have you installed the new springs yet? I have not installed mine yet but the paperwork with them says not to be alarmed if they are shorter than the ones you take out. They are still designed to give the same ride height.

i havent taken mine out yet the reason i wanted to know though was im not sure if i have lowered springs already. The reason i ned to find out is that the top control arm ont he drivers side is fully spaced out and that wheel still has 1.0 camber. So i need to make sure i have the stock setup to see whats up.
