Big Block Engine Decals
Does anyone know if the 70 BB in my GMC would have had a "Invader 400" decal on the driver side valve cover of the 402? I just put the "Tonawanda #1" sticker on the passenger side valve cover. Any help on decal placement under the hood in general would be GREAT. Send a pic if you can. Thanks!!

Re: Big Block Engine Decals
I can't remember what year this truck was. I think it was a 69, but it was supposedly all original.

Re: Big Block Engine Decals
Thanks for the pics.....Nice!! I have seen the Tonawanda sticker on a couple big blocks, but it was on the passenger side where these pics have the Invader 400 sticker. I just assumed if the Invader 400 sticker was on these it would be on the front of the drivers valve cover where these show the Tonawanda sticker. How confusing. Would be great to see some factory pics of the BB in a truck. One thing seems clear about these trucks, that there were no stickers on the BB air cleaner lid showing cubic inches or horsepower. Greg

Re: Big Block Engine Decals
Just FYI the Invader stickers of the style pictured are for GMC Sprints, not the trucks. I have one too, but they're not right.

Re: Big Block Engine Decals
I was going to say, I'm unaware of an Invader sticker for my 71. Speak of pictures, I'd sure like to find that stove pipe and heat shields.
