Looking for more imput. Changing motor and notice a small leak in factory radiator. Looking to swap with aluminum. I have been told to go with a plain radiator and add a trans cooler. Also adding a/c and will have that to mount up front somewhere. Any advise and or comment would be most helpful. Pics would be even better. Is changing to aluminum a good thought or bad?

I changed to an aluminum and love it. I got a Griffin, which is a little pricier, but I will never have to worry about overheating in traffic again. It bolted right in with the exception that I had to get the cradles for a 4 core radiator which is a little bigger than the 3 core cradles I had.

For the trans cooler, bigger is better. Personally, I'd go with one built in the radiator & add an add'l cooler.

Only thing is, if you live in cold weather, you might now want too much trans cooler, especially if its your only cooler.
