I saw one on a truck like mine here in Victoria. Is there any special purpose or reason for wanting to chrome one of those things?

call sign
You need to update your call sign to "huggy bear" once you've installed it...

I'll probably run down and pick it up friday. After I put it on I'll post a pic. Its the section between the hood and the window. It'll look pretty good with the black paint on the rest of the truck and the fly cowl induction hood. I get more comments on that hood than I can believe. I do believe my Ho's will enjoy the chrome cowl as I slap them. If I were an Indian ...I would be a Slapaho.
My wife says I am like a crow . I fly around and pick up shiny things.

He WAS going to use it as a display piece . :-) .... Now its going on my truck.
Actually because it's so close to the windshield I dont think you can really even see the cowl while your driving.

Way to go all you need now is a chrome dash. Is the whole thing chrome or just the middle. I honestly dont get that whole idea. Different strokes for different folks though.

The whole cowl is chromed from fender to shining fender.
wouldnt want a chromed dash though...too much glare on the wrong side of the windshield although I do have a glove box door at the chromer right now. Also picked up a set of the long stem round head door mirrors the other day . Nothing sets off black paint like chrome.

I did see one on a truck. It was a 67 and it was pretty well rusted and the 67 was the wrong color for it. didnt look good at all.
we'll see how I like it. I still have the original cowl so its no biggie if I dont but being that I'm an attention hog anyway with an overly developed self esteem thing going on I wouldnt see a problem with it

And then you could chrome your hood and the entire upper portion of you truck so you can have a black/chrome two tone truck.
