Re: pics of my burned $50.00 truck
It's well worth the money burned or not. There is $100 in scrap there if nothing else...With people buying trucks with sheet metal looking like that, someone might want to buy it from you and label it patina

Re: pics of my burned $50.00 truck
Looks like some good parts there, or maybe just a little primer here and there and you'll have it back on the road.

Re: pics of my burned $50.00 truck
it's going to need more than just primer. I wish that was the case. the picture makes it look better than it is. I'm going to put another body on it....I took the body off and gave it to a friend to take in for scrap..he got over 100 bucks

Re: pics of my burned $50.00 truck
I'd put some oil in it,and try to turn it over using a ratchet on the crankshaft/harmonic ballancer bolt..see if it atleast turns over.I doubt it runs, and if it does,it wont run good..I'd go through it before driving with it.

Re: pics of my burned $50.00 truck
It might but my wory is when they put the fire out with water. How much water got in the motor. Since the valve cover is held down with t bolts, spin them off and see what it looks like in there.

Re: pics of my burned $50.00 truck
I was surprised also. It wasn't bowed too much. the driver's side was bowed out a bit but not that bad. The pics make the take look worse than it is the seat isn't bolted down on the driver's side so it sits closer to the tank.

Re: pics of my burned $50.00 truck
most people told me no way...It wouldn't run good enough to keep...one board member and my father said it may still run good..I didn't have much fath I didn't take it apart or change the oil first. I didn't want to wast my time. ..after the fire it sat for a few years before i rescued her. I picked it up for 50 bucks. before this one I bought one that I'm using the body off of. picked that one up for 100.00 I'll post pics of that one tomorrow. its a 2wd
